The Friends of the Bay of Islands Coastal Park was formed in 1995 and works under he guidance and supervision of Parks Victoria. These volunteers are involved in a variety of activities including planting out damaged areas, weed removal, bird watching, plant surveys and consult with Parks Victoria regarding signage and track repair.
On the first Sunday of a new season the group meets to work on a particular project within the park. These four project days at the start of spring, summer, autumn and winter start at 10am and finish about midday with a cuppa tea or coffee and a bikkie. If you would like to join us, we meet at the Community Noticeboard in Mac's St at 10am.
Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting of the group is on the second Sunday in January at the CFA shed. Please join us and bring a plate to share. Following the formal business of elections and reports, there is always a guest speaker of interest to our work. All are welcome. This year we are ably led by:
