The Peterborough History Group began life in 2013 with the aim to collect and record memories, information and artefacts related to Peterborough.
It has a small space to keep the History Collection which includes books, posters, articles and recordings of local people. A research work by Ken Clements of Federation University, Ballarat, is a prized possession. It records research undertaken on the time of the Frontier Wars. The bulk of the collection is memorabilia of local residents, the catalogue can be found here: https://victoriancollections.net.au/organisations/peterborough-history-group
The current group focus is to record and collect the stories of residents and visitors, to add to the collection. If you would like to be participate in this, please contact Sally Loveridge at peterboroughhistorygroupvic@gmail.com
