We have an interest in preserving those aspects of Peterborough that make it such a wonderful place to live and to visit.
On this Peterborough Planning page, the Peterborough Residents' Group will create a permanent record of the submissions it makes on behalf of our community, as well as any reports or applications that directly affect us.
The planning process can seem overwhelming to a layperson, we hope to make it easier for you to access the information you need to understand how it works. You are encouraged to take an active interest in what is planned for our community.
Old Peterborough Road development
A proposal to develop an estate on the old Peterborough Road was lodged with Council early in 2024. In response to concerns expressed, the Peterborough Residents' Group (PRG) submitted an objection because the proposal does not provide a positive design response to the site and surrounds and does not adequately address all provisions of the Moyne Planning Scheme, the Decision Guidelines (Schedule 24) and the Residential Design Guidelines, Peterborough, Victoria (May 2006).
