Worm Bay is a perfect place to spend a day. The cliffs that form a crescent shape provide protection from all but the southerly winds. The stacks of the Bay of Islands are dotted in the distant sea, a backdrop to the waters of the cove. Shelter from the sun can be found at the western end of the beach where the cliffs overhang to create a cave like effect.
